(This simply means that if you decide to fire the gun upside-down for whatever perverted reason, the slide will lock open after every shot. Here’s the lowdown on what my P22 (3.4” barrel) was like after all that ammo:ġ) The slide stop spring has broken off and no longer holds the slide release in the lowermost position. No modifications were performed on it, and no parts have ever been replaced since it was purchased. Likewise, please note that the gun was completely stock when I got it.
